                           About Our Club 

Day Trippers Scooter Club started in Sept 2008 with 3 members, One year on and we are 16+ friends and are continuing to have Club ride outs every thursday, weather permitting

......if we don't turn up at the advertised destination, its because we are a Scooter Club, as it would n't seem right to turn up in our cars.

 

 If you like the sound of the above .............''Don't wait for an invite..... just turn up'' at the Village Inn, Alcester road Moseley from 7.45pm, we leave at ~8pm.

D.T.S.C self adhesive letters, for applying to the rear of your scooter helmet, Letter colours in black or white.

Breakdown/spares/Repairs:                All members need be registered with a recovery service and it is advisable to carry some spare cables, bulbs, tools etc.The club will not be liable for any damages or accidents during any of the ride outs.

D.T.S.C Local - Fund Raise  total raised since 4th Sept 08, £2220

We support the Midlandscooters.com fund raising.

We also have our own fund raising events.  

1) Following the car wash event, arranged by Paul Heath at the Bournbrook Fire Station, our Club with the help of the Fire Service raised £150

2) As a result of our Club contacting the organisers of the Solihull Carnival,  a donation of £1000  has been given towards the Just Giving Organisation which helped fund the stair walker for Conor O Donovan. 

3) Noel Sturdy completed the Birmingham half marathon on Oct 11th, his first half marathon in 2hrs and 15 minutes.

Noel raised over £170 towards the Birmingham Childrens Hospital.
